Mulch Fest 2026
Drop off begins on December 26, 2025 through January 11, 2026 in the designated area within the park. NYC Parks staff is looking for volunteers to help stack discarded trees and move them to the chipper trucks.

We’ll tour historic buildings around the park as we delve into the surprising history of how this community of immigrants established the first ever self-managed worker housing cooperative in the United States.

This living history event will commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the only Peace Conference held during the American Revolution on September 11th, 1776.
