Join the Urban Park Rangers in a history tour of Downtown Brooklyn. Rangers will lead from Fort Greene to the entrance of the Brooklyn Bridge, explaining early Brooklyn life and the fascinating story behind New York's most iconic bridge. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Owl's Head Park Volunteers is a friend's group of Owl's Head Park located in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York. We are registered with Partnerships for Parks and are a member of the City Parks Foundation's fiscal sponsorship program.
To make a monetary donation to Owl's Head Park Volunteers, please email us at [email protected] and we will provide you with instructions on how to send the donation.
We also accept donations for tools, soil, hand sanitizers, snacks and bottled water for volunteers. Please email us at: [email protected] and we will instruct you how you can make these donations.

Street trees do so much to improve our environment but often receive little care. Learn best practices to spruce up your tree beds while improving the health and resilience of your block’s trees. We’ll also discuss how street tree care can be a great way to motivate your neighbors to participate in the Greenest Block in Brooklyn contest. Take home a plant to try in your street tree bed!
