Tree Bed Plant Trial Participant Screening Form for NYC park groups in Spring 2023
The Greenbelt Native Plant Center on Staten Island, NY has created a program for friends of parks groups to participate in their tree bed plant initiative. Approved participants will receive a toolkit with plants for tree beds and instructions on planting. The Center's mission is to collect data on native plant species' survival in New York City public tree beds, in order to better understand which native species can thrive in challenging urban conditions. This data will help them to better support the biodiversity and ecological health of our urban environment.
